Updated 6th November 2020
As a result of COVID-19, our planned programme of face-to-face events was been suspended from March 2019.
We have organised successful online lectures and a DPI competition and now it is clear that COVID restrictions are likely to be here for there a long time, we are beginning to arrange more online events.
Events below in grey did not happen or are unlikely to happen in a face-to-face form.
Keep watching for remote events by email or by web conference, and perhaps when the advice is clearer in the coming weeks or months it may be possible to arrange out-door photoshoots away from densely populated areas, provided this can be done within current health guidance. See updates on the News page.
Many apologies for any disappointment.
The programme is subject to change - check before each event!

Thursday 20th August - Now that lock down has been eased for those not at risk, and social distancing measures put in place (see recent email from our chairman with respect to recommended rules in EAF clubs), some of the club members have spoken about getting out and about again to continue our passion for photography. Nigel is going 'walkabout' at Leiston Abbey and Westleton Heath on the evening of 20th August to capture some evening black and white images of the Abbey ruins between 18:00hrs and 18:45hrs and then moving on to Westleton Heath to try and get some sunset images over the Heather from 19:00hrs through the golden hour to sunset at 20:00hrs and if the skies are kind some of the magic blue hour pastel skies until about 20:45hrs. If anyone would like to do similar and would like some company let us know. Note please be advised that if you do intend to go along, access is relatively easy with very close car parking in both locations, but the Abbey is uneven grass to wander around, so some good footwear is in order. And, of course be prepared for bad weather with appropriate clothes and drinks, etc.
